3rd CYPRUS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL  

With Saturday’s closing ceremony Cyprus International Film Festival reached its end. Six days full of screenings, guest directors’ touch on the festival’s framework and many side events have composed festival’s activities.

Closing Ceremony was an impressive multimedia show prepared by OCEAN IMAGES Productions and Agnes Saccas, performed as a Piano Soloist. The awards were presented by internationally acclaimed actress Q-Orianka Kilcher and talented director Dionysios Zervos, both members of the festival’s international Jury.

Excellencies from the Embassy of Ukraine, High Comissioner of India in Cyprus as well as Dmitri Andreyko, First Secretary of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Cyprus, Vakis Loizides and Maro Kazepi Tourist Officers from Cyprus Tourism Organization honored the festival with their presence.

One of the ceremony’s highlights was the award given to Q-Orianka Kilcher by the Cyprus Environmental Organization Green Shield, for her worldwide contribution to the environmental movement. Festival’s Director Mrs Petra Terzi thanked all the interfering parts for their contribution to the festival’s success and put forward some new, inspiring goals for the next year’s version of the festival.
